when it comes to defining metallica, most people use james hetfield as their guide. From James' scorching vocals to the intricate rhythm guitar playing, martin plays this part with ease! with metallica music running through his veins and his explosive passion for loud aggressive music Martin comes alive on stage, aiding the bands ability to exude power and infectious energy.
martin has been playing guitar since the age of 12 and has played in numerous bands ranging in genre. although he has influences for many unsuspecting artists, his passion lies with rock and metal with artists such as pantera, testament, alice in chains, megadeth etc, although when asked his favourite type of music he said...
"anything really, as long as it kicks your teeth in! it's all good!"
Martin is heavily interested in music and as well as performing music live, he also a studio sound engineer and is currently studying his masters in music technology.
